Splice Music takes the mix of music and community-website to a whole new level by including the tools for creating the music within the site itself. What they’ve managed to achieve using flash8 is remarkable, but what’s even more exciting is that according to this blog post the tool is about to be relaunched with a huge flash9/actionscript 3.0 upgrade along with an injection of some Andre Michelle magic that promises to terrify the creators of music packages like Reason, Garage Band and Fruity Loops!

New Monocle has just launched (for real and on paper). We have not seen it yet but the website looks nice enough. Has anybody seen it in the wild?
Wired.com and wired magazine are both wearing a fresh look. We haven’t had a chance to look at the magazine yet but the new site looks fab. The new simplyfied interface really puts the focus on the content.
