Creative blog of canadian artist James Paterson. Don’t forget to look into his projects.
inspiredology featured a few office webdesigns which immediately reminded me of two pictures I took during last year’s Schmiede.
Both pictures are under the creative commons, so if anyone wants to use them for a design I’d be happy to hear about.

Sayaka was born in Japan and studying in the Netherlands for a few years now. The two things from her design-gallery that made me smile where the
apple cup and the fortuneteller cup.
Only place 12 you might think? Well, on the list by mostinspired #12 is the top-spot, so I’m very grateful for this…
I the comments there came a topic up, screenshots. Here at pp I don’t force anyone to upload screenshots. I usually do them myself and even from those that are uploaded I replace many because I think this or that element needs some focus.
Automatic screenshots are no solution for three simple reasons:
- They fail on most flash websites
- I select what’s important
- Most times I have more than only one screenshot.
Alex complained a bit about what the front page of the new plasticpilots looked liked but I think with the new one it’s much better now.
The right sidebar is a bit broader and moved a bit left to make space for bigger thumbnails. The latest comments were removed for now and there are five posts now.
Any comments on the new look? Alex?
It’s been a month now since Alex and I started talking and since Sunday the new software is online and live. A few things have changed besides that.
The old software, expression engine, was not that flexible like the new one will be. You can expect interesting new features, easier submission, integration of external webservices and other stuff.
There will be a newsletter pretty soon, you can already subscribe to it.
